Honeyeater?

Postby Ulf » Fri Aug 11, 2017 4:49 am

Hi,
does anybody know what kind of bird this is? Is it perhaps some kind of Honeyeater? The pic was taken in the Kruger National Park, RSA.
Best wishes,
Ulf

Hi Ulf,

Welcome to the forum!

Sorry it took so long to reply, I have been settling into a new job and have neglected the site for a while!

Your bird looks like a Wattled Starling, Creatophora cinerea.

Cheers,
Gordon
