Powerful Owl at Highfields

Hi All,

Got this stunning Powerful Owl at the Regent Honeyeater site today!

Unfortunately we only got to hear the Regents calling but not seen though others did see them. Apparently they reckon there might be 4 birds present currently!

Chatting to the lady who found them she was asking if people manage to get recordings of the call to please submit them to help the breeding program teach captive birds the calls!

Thank you for the kind words. Yes the bird was perched in a tree above one of the walking tracks that particular day so it was literally a case of walk up and see the bird just above your head.
